It's 2021.01.01 on the lunar calendar today.

Hi everyone, we greet yet another new year. Did you notice the new banner? I'll start changing it up monthly. I'm saying goodbye to the year of the rat by getting rid of my faulty mouse which I have to re-connect dozens of times a day (mouse recommendations welcome).

To welcome the year of the ox today, I'm hosting a live watch party on YouTube at 5pm PT/8pm ET. There will be new songs, old songs, new twists on old songs, alongside Korean food and games—it should make for a fun and fast-paced 20 minutes and 21 seconds 🎉

The above is a screen grab from career coaching, which I just started 😂 It's got it all: the iPad at an unflattering angle (to spare an overworked, whirring MacBook), the tears streaming down the face, the vein bulging out of the forehead, all against an Among Us screenshot—which I chose as the neutral option from Photos for a previous call and forgot about—as the background because Zoom's default backgrounds had disappeared yet again.

I sent it to my sister for kicks and she forwarded this tweet that says "literally is anyone okay" and I'd be remiss if I didn't mention that I'm pretty sure I've seen that precise combo of bread-related products recommended to me on Amazon. 

Despite the general public's and my perpetual r-u-ok-or-not-ness, my goals this year are no less than to deliberately and proactively figure out what I want in all aspects of my life from the professional to the personal.
